The Phaser Lite features 5 powerful bright white LEDs in a compact thin profile. Comes with an adjustable elastic strap to wear as a head lamp or armband. The lamp swivels 180 degrees so you can point the LEDs exactly where you want light. There are 3 selectable modes: steady-on, chase (lights flash rapidly in sequence from left to right), and blink (all lights flash repeatedly). The high quality LEDs last 100,000 hours, enough for a lifetime of use. Uses 5 replaceable LR41 batteries (included). The Phaser Lite is a light compact size that easily fits in any pocket: the lamp portion (not including strap) is just 1.5" x 1.25".
Trying to choose between this and the Ultra White LED Headlamp? Both use identical LEDs but the Ultra White LED Headlamp can be perceived to be brighter due to the reflective background behind the LEDs. The streamlined Phaser Lite does not have this background as the light "opening" area is just big enough for the LED bulbs themselves. The Phaser is your choice when a mini size is the most important factor.
